Guys I managed to finish 3 whole books last week 🤯

I love my job, I’m so grateful to be able to work with incredible business and the individuals that are behind them.
But like everyone, I need balance.

And having a week offline has definitely shown that I was getting to the point where instead of giving myself a couple of hours to read, I’d feel so guilty that I wasn’t being ‘productive’ that I would just end up doom scrolling.

So I’m going to try and shift the balance back to neutral, and making sure my brain gets some time away from screens.

I loved watching the sky change over the evening. It went from a stunning lavender, to this moody gradient and then beautiful inky blue and purple. I let you lovely lot vote and this was your favourite 😃

Was it false Spring… possibly.
Did I make sure to soak up every ounce of sunlight… absolutely. And the buds arriving on the trees let me know that Spring is gently on its way.

This week is fuelled by a weekend of sunny dog walks and soaking in the vitamin D. Even as someone who loves cooler, cosier weather, the sun this weekend was absolutely beautiful.

I never thought that I would have a creative job, having done science forever. But after finishing my Zoology degree in the pandemic, and moving counties, I found that I needed something flexible while we renovated and allowed me to prioritise my dogs, who hadn’t asked to live in chaos 😂

So I found myself looking back to one of my earlier qualifications in photography and found that I could combine that with my passion for sustainability and supporting small businesses.

It’s very frustrating to be a small business at the moment, most of us are out-budgeted quite significantly by larger brands, making it very difficult to be seen around Black Friday.

Today is Black Friday, once Cyber Monday is over, we will hopefully be over the worst of it.
But it means that when you are posting, you need to post with intention and make it count so that when your followers see your posts, they convert to sales.
